Urgent: Route : MAA-DEL-FRA-CPH
I hope someone is able to help me with this unusual situation. I was denied boarding by Luftansa airlines from Delhi-Cph today because of my RP card. I have Denmark residence and My current work permit expiry date is 21/4/21 but the residence card is valid until 21/10/21 (6 months after my work permit). I also have filed for WP extension, submitted biometrics but haven’t received the new RP card. But I have the filed letter from SIRI and also showed it to them but it was not accepted. While filing for extension I enquired about the travel requirements from SIRI and they clearly mentioned that I will be able to travel in and out of Denmark with the valid residence card date 21/10; But apparently the transit through Germany requires the work permit date to be valid. Has anyone faced a similar situation? If I contact SIRI on Monday will they be able to send a letter regarding the same or the Embassy of India in Copenhagen? How long does it take to get a reentry permit while applying from India. Do anyone know if other airlines have the same rules? Any leads will be really helpful. Thankyou.
