Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, met with Mr. Marco Mensink, Director General of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic).

They also exchanged views on fostering research and development cooperation, circular economy initiatives, and capacity building through knowledge sharing and industry linkages. The engagement underscored the shared commitment of India and the EU to advancing responsible chemical manufacturing and building resilient, sustainable value chains in the sector.
