The Embassy of India in Poland celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great joy and patriotic fervour, joined by several hundred members of the Indian community and friends of India at the Embassy premises this morning
Ambassador Nagma M. Mallick unfurled the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. She then read out the Independence Day address to the nation by Hon’ble Rashtrapatiji Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
Adding to the spirit of the day, a soulful rendition of Rabindranath Tagore’s patriotic song “Akla Cholo Re” was presented by Shreyasi Dasgupta and Adreza Bepari.
The celebrations witnessed enthusiastic participation, with the gathering saluting the tricolour and echoing chants of ‘Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!’.
