Embassy of India in Moscow Flags Off Ride for Hope: Volga to Brahmaputra Bicycle Expedition.

The Embassy of India in Moscow hosted a Flag-off Ceremony on April 29 for the inspiring “Ride for Hope: Volga to Brahmaputra” bicycle expedition. This remarkable journey is being undertaken by renowned para-cyclist Shri Rakesh Banik, covering an astounding 9,000 kilometres from Moscow to Guwahati, Assam, India.

The ceremony was led by Mr. V. Kumar, Minister (Education & CW) at the Embassy of India, and attended by Embassy officials along with members of the Indian Diaspora.

Mr. Kumar lauded Mr. Banik’s exceptional courage and determination in embarking on such a monumental expedition, and conveyed his best wishes for a successful and impactful journey.
