Ms. Roopa Ramkumar and Swaddha Srivathsa performed Bharatnatyam at the Embassy, accompanied by Sudarshan on live vocals, Anand Varadharajan on Mridangam, and Satanik Mukherjee on violin. In addition to congratulating the performers, Ambassador Saurabh Kumar stated that the Embassy would use the vast talent present in the diaspora to plan other concerts spanning various facets of India’s rich cultural heritage.
