To celebrate India’s rich classical music heritage and the timeless traditions of Banaras, the Embassy of India in Belgium (Embassy of India, Brussels) hosted a captivating musical concert titled “Ancient Sounds of Banaras.” The performance featured the acclaimed flautist Bhaskar Das, accompanied by the talented tablist Amit Mishra.
Held at the prestigious Royal Library of Belgium, the event commenced with opening remarks by Dr. M. Balaji, Chargé d’Affaires. The concert drew an enthusiastic audience, including Belgian nationals, members of the diplomatic corps — among them several Ambassadors — as well as members of the Indian diaspora.
