A New Chapter Begins for Indian Researchers in Czechia
The soft launch of INDRA-CZ – Indian Researchers and Academics in Czechia took place at the Embassy premises following a brainstorming session chaired by Ambassador Raveesh Kumar. The session brought together a select group of Indian researchers and academics from across the Czech Republic. The platform will be formally launched in May 2026, with broader participation from the community.
INDRA-CZ marks the first step towards building a vibrant academic network in Czechia. The initiative aims to serve as a dynamic platform that connects Indian researchers and academics in the country while strengthening India–Czech Republic collaboration in science, technology, and education.
The platform will focus on:
• Facilitating partnerships between Indian and Czech institutions
• Supporting professional development and mentorship
• Building a strong and inclusive Indian academic community
During the meeting, participants also finalized the INDRA-CZ Charter, marking an important milestone in shaping this collaborative initiative.
If you are an Indian researcher or academic residing in the Czech Republic, you are invited to register and become part of this growing network:
