Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications, visited London from February 18-19 to enhance bilateral cooperation in the telecom sector. During his visit, he met with the UK’s National Technology Advisor, toured the CHEDDAR Hub at Imperial College London, and visited the Alan Turing Institute.
The High Commission of India in the UK, with support from the UK Telecommunications Innovation Network (UKTIN), organized a roundtable chaired by Dr. Mittal. The event brought together leaders from major telecom companies such as BT, Vodafone, and Ericsson, along with representatives from UK academia. Discussions revolved around next-generation telecom technologies, particularly 6G, aiming to foster stronger collaboration between India and the UK in the telecom industry.
