Welcome to the website of the Embassy of India in Copenhagen. It is your window to India, providing access to information and services about our country, whether you are visiting as a tourist or a businessman. It provides useful links to explore various facets of India – cultural, social, economic and political, among others.

I have been the Ambassador of India to Denmark since 4th August 2013. I and my colleagues in the Embassy are committed to providing you various services including those related to visas, tourism and trade.

India and Denmark established diplomatic relations more than sixty years ago. Since then, the two countries have interacted regularly, and relations have developed in various fields. Since the Indian economic reforms in the early 1990s, bilateral trade and investment have registered rapid growth. Today, more than 120 Danish Companies operate in India, while more than 20 Indian Companies are present in Denmark, particularly in the Information Technology related sectors.
