Deepavali Shines Bright on UNESCO’s Cultural Map

Deepavali Shines on the Global Stage
Deepavali has been officially inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity at the 20th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The Embassy of India in Stockholm marked this proud moment with the Indian diaspora and friends of India — lighting lamps, creating vibrant rangoli, sharing sweets & stories, and celebrating the timeless cultural heritage that connects communities across continents.
