The Consulate General of India, Frankfur, was delighted to welcome Ms. Manuela Strube, State Secretary to the Hessian Ministry of Labour, Integration, Youth & Social Affairs, together with Ms. Claudia Wesner and Mr. Nikolai Laskowski, on 16 September 2025.
The meeting focused on enhancing India–Germany cooperation in skilled migration, with discussions covering vocational education, training opportunities, and streamlining visa and recognition procedures. State Secretary Strube also shared insights into Hesse’s initiatives to address the rising demand for skilled professionals, including the WELCOMECENTER, which reflects the state’s open and welcoming approach.
Consul General Ms. Shuchita Kishore expressed appreciation for the visit, reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening collaboration, and invited the State Secretary to visit India at her earliest convenience.
