Consul General Ms. Shuchita Kishore and Consul (Commerce) Mr. Bhupendra Singh Nikhurpa met Dr. Christian Garbe, Managing Director of FiZ (Frankfurter Innovationszentrum Biotechnologie GmbH), in Riedberg. Also present at the meeting were Dr. Sarang Limaye, Chief Scientific Officer, and Dr. Rahul S, Chief Information Officer at FiZ.
The discussions focused on exploring future avenues of collaboration between India and Germany in the fields of Ayurgenomics, biotechnology research, and innovation-driven healthcare solutions. Both sides emphasized the importance of integrating India’s traditional knowledge systems with cutting-edge biotechnology to advance global health and scientific development.

The visit also included a guided tour of FiZ’s advanced laboratory facilities, offering valuable insights into Germany’s thriving biotechnology ecosystem and potential models for Indo-German partnership in this domain.
