Commemorating the Legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda

As part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh celebrations, the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a revered tribal leader and national hero, by offering a floral tribute in his honour.

The event paid homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s enduring legacy as a visionary freedom fighter who led his people with courage and conviction against colonial rule. His unwavering spirit, commitment to justice, and efforts to uphold the rights and dignity of tribal communities continue to inspire generations across India.

The commemoration served as a reminder of his invaluable contribution to India’s independence movement and his role in shaping the identity and pride of the tribal community.
