On the occasion of 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt announces Rangoli and Painting Contests.
Members of Indian Diaspora residing within our jurisdiction (Hessen, North Rhine Westphalia, Rhineland Palatinate and Saarland) are invited to participate in the Rangoli contest. The participation may be solo or in a group. The theme of the painting should be 75 Years of India’s Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) to highlight patriotism, freedom movement, national unity, glorious history or rich and diverse culture of India. The contest will be orgnanised at the Consulate’s premises (Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 26, 60325 Frankfurt/M) on 12 August 2022 between 1500-1600hrs.
The painting contest is open for children of Indian Diaspora within our jurisdiction. The participation will be in two categories: (i) 7-11 years and (ii) 12-16 years old. The theme of the painting contest will remain the same as for Rangoli and it will also be orgnanised on 12 August 2022 at the Consulate’s premises between 15;00-16;00hrs.
The result of the contests will be announced on 15th August 2022 and winners will be awarded exciting prizes.
