In the run-up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 (19–20 February 2026), Consul General Mr. Somnath Ghosh delivered opening remarks at the workshop “AI: Exploring Innovation, Impact & Responsibility,” jointly hosted by Information and Technology Services, University of Michigan.

The workshop featured expert panel discussions on AI in Emerging Markets, AI & Research Innovation, and Responsible AI use — highlighting the importance of collaboration, ethics and inclusive technological growth.
