Celebrating the Global Legacy of the Bhagavad Gita

Join us on 7 November at 6 PM at Geeta Bhawan, Birmingham, for a special celebration of Gita Mahotsav — an event that honours the profound spiritual and philosophical legacy of the Bhagavad Gita, recently inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.

The Bhagavad Gita, often called the “Song of Eternity,” continues to guide humanity through its timeless teachings on Dharma (righteous duty), selfless action, and inner harmony. This year’s celebration offers an opportunity to reflect deeply on how these eternal values continue to shape global ethics, inspire personal growth, and foster peace in a rapidly changing world.

The evening will bring together devotees, scholars, and members of the community to celebrate the Gita’s universal message — one that transcends boundaries of culture, time, and belief. Join us in paying tribute to this timeless scripture that continues to illuminate the path of wisdom and compassion for generations across the world.
