On November 9, 2024, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha NRW celebrated Annakut and Diwali in Essen. Many members of the Indian diaspora and devotees attended the event.
Consul and Head of Chancery Shri Vibha Kant Sharna attended the festivities. He praised the devotion and commitment of BAPS volunteers to serve and support the community in his remarks, recalling his close relationship with BAPS volunteers and their selfless contributions during COVID-19 in the UAE in 2020 and during the evacuation of fellow citizens from Ukraine through the Polish border in 2022.
Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Shri Bhavesh Miyani and the entire BAPS Swamina-rayan Sanstha NRW team for their efforts in promoting Indian culture and customs, as well as for the wonderful Diwali and Annakut celebration.
