Deepavali in Berlin, illuminated with heritage!
As UNESCO recognises Deepavali as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Embassy of India, Berlin and the Tagore Centre celebrated this milestone with joy and vibrance. From young children lighting diyas at the Tagore Centre to members of the Indian diaspora illuminating the iconic Brandenburg Gate, the festival’s spirit came alive across the city.
Ambassador Ajit Gupte, Mrs. Priti Gupte, and Director Ms. Trisha Sakhlecha joined the celebrations, highlighting the significance of this recognition and the shared pride of the community.
