On October 28, 2024, Ambassador Puneet R. Kundal gave His Excellency President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa a presentation of his credentials at the Palácio Nacional de Belém in Lisbon. A formal military greeting was given to him.
Additionally, the ambassador had the privilege of meeting with President Marcelo de Sousa to talk about India-Portugal bilateral relations. The ambassador asked the president for advice and blessings in order to strengthen the long-standing relationship between Portugal and India.
