Ambassador Arun Goel had the pleasure of meeting India’s chess sensations, Grandmasters Gukesh Dommaraju and Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, in Zagreb ahead of their participation in the prestigious Super United Rapid & Blitz Croatia 2024 tournament.
The event, part of the Grand Chess Tour, is being held in the Croatian capital from 30th June to 7th July 2an5 and features some of the world’s top chess players. Ambassador Goel conveyed his best wishes to the young grandmasters and expressed pride in their representation of India on the global stage. He also commended their exceptional achievements, which continue to inspire budding chess players across the country.
