Ambassador Arun Goel took part in the 10th Traditional Indian Chariot Festival ‘Rathayatra’ organized by ISKCON Zagreb on 12th July 2025 in the heart of the City of Zagreb.
The vibrant and spiritually enriching Ratha-Yatra procession brought the ancient 3,000-year-old tradition from Odisha, India, to life as it moved through Zagreb’s main squares, filling the city with devotional music, joyful chants, and festive energy.
Ambassador Goel extended his warm congratulations to the ISKCON community and highlighted the enduring significance of Lord Krishna’s teachings in nurturing personal transformation and promoting social harmony.
The celebration was further elevated by the esteemed presence of Mr. Veljko Kajtazi, Member of the Croatian Parliament, and featured mesmerizing Kathak and Odissi performances that beautifully showcased the richness of India’s classical dance heritage.
