@indiaingermany, in collaboration with the Indian Students Association in the Magdeburg region, organized a warm welcome and interaction event for newly arrived Indian students at the University of Magdeburg on June 12, 2025.
In his virtual address, Ambassador Ajit Gupte highlighted that Indian students now constitute the largest group of international students in Germany. He underlined their key role in deepening people-to-people connections and enhancing bilateral cooperation in education and research.
Dr. Ramanuj Banerjee, Science Counsellor at the Embassy of India in Berlin, shared valuable guidance with the students and moderated the interactive session.
The event also served as a platform to connect new students with their peers, helping them integrate smoothly into academic and cultural life in Germany.
