Taking forward the momentum of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), Ambassador Kumar hosted Mr. Sanjiv Nayar, President of Assocham, in Berne today. Their meeting focused on practical strategies to enhance bilateral economic engagement and foster industrial collaboration between India and Switzerland. Central to the discussion was the ambitious target of achieving US$100 billion in investments as envisioned under the landmark TEPA signed in March 2024. Both sides emphasized the importance of building robust industry-to-industry linkages, promoting innovation, and facilitating ease of doing business to realize the full potential of this partnership.
