India’s Creative & Tech Ecosystem Shines at Berlinale 2026
Ambassador Ajit Gupte inaugurated the 🇮🇳 India Pavilion at the European Film Market during Berlinale 2026 and engaged with leading Indian film, gaming, AI and immersive media companies.
The Pavilion showcases India’s globally acclaimed cinema alongside the rapidly expanding AVGC-XR ecosystem — spanning animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality — demonstrating India’s emergence as a major creative technology hub. Supported by initiatives of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting India such as WAVES, the platform promotes co-production, innovation partnerships and market access.
The interactions also advanced industry linkages, encouraging B2B collaboration, talent exchange and joint storytelling opportunities between creators, studios and technology partners.
