Air bubble sharing experience from Brussels to India

Hello Everyone,
PLEASE TAKE COVID TEST FOR KID <6 YEARS IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING THROUGH LUFTHANSA and CONNECTING in FRANKFURT.
I was about to board flight from Brussels—> Frankfurt–>Bengaluru today morning.
Documents prepared before journey:
1. Indian Embassy registration (confirmation email) – vbm form
2. Corona negative test – 48 hours before travel
3. Air Suvidha/SDF (Self-declaration form) done after receiving Covid test
4. Flight ticket
5. Arogya Setu app installed
6. Indian cash for test in Bangalore (if needed)

However, we did covid test only for myself and my wife and not for 4-year-old kid as we received email stating “all passengers aged six years or older who wish to enter Germany on flights from risk and non-risk areas must present a negative Covid 19 test at the time of departure. Without negative test proof, you cannot be carried. This was decided by the German government. This rule also applies to all passengers with a connecting flight in Frankfurt or Munich.”

I spoke to customer care thrice in last 48 hours and everyone confirmed that we do not need a covid test for kids <6 years. I spoke to customer care even along with the checking staff in Brussels airport, still the Lufthansa customer care staff clearly explained that we do not need covid test for kid <6 years and she stated same to the staff in brussels. Still, they dint accept and said the information provided is incorrect as per Rules mentioned in India all passengers (even an infant) should have COVID -ve report.

Rebooked my flight and I’m back home
