On 10 November 2025, Consul General Ms. Shuchita Kishore paid a courtesy call on Ms. Petra Dick-Walther, State Secretary, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viniculture (MWVLW) of Rhineland-Palatinate, in Mainz.
Presentations highlighted the role of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Clinical Studies (IZKS) and the Medical Device Innovation Centre (MIC) in advancing clinical research and innovation in medical technology.
The engagement also included visits to key research facilities at the University Medical Center (UniMed) Mainz, including the Core Facility NGS (CFNGS), Cell Biology Unit (CBU), and specialized labs working on RNA deep sequencing, protein science, cancer research, and sleep studies at the ENT Clinic.
The discussions reflected strong potential for collaboration in the health ecosystem — spanning biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and AI-driven digital transformation — between Rhineland-Palatinate and 🇮🇳 India.
