Acting Consul General visited the Fish International Fair Bremen (Sept 04-06, 2022)
Acting Consul General Shri Gulshan Dhingra visited the Fish Fair Bremen 2022 and met the 3-member MPEDA Delegation (Marine Products Export Development Authority) led by Ms. Nidhi Pandey, Under Secretary, Department of Commerce, New Delhi, at the Fish International event which took place from 4th to 6th September 2022 at the Fairgrounds, Bremen.
The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), established by the Government of India, is given the mandate to promote the marine products industry with special reference to exports from India. For this purpose, MPEDA exhibited at the Fish International Fair and offered the visitors Indian Seafood Delicacies through a live kitchen established in the MPEDA stall. Dr. Therodath Rajan Gibinkumar, Deputy Director, MPEDA Kochi, Mr. Tambada Naresh Vishnu, Deputy Director, MPEDA Mumbai along with Ms. Nidhi Pandey, Under Secretary utilized the occasion in informing the visitors, who thronged the live kitchen, about Indian Seafood products and India’s export potential in this specific sector.
