We were delighted to welcome Nabodit Bhattacharya, great-grandson of the renowned Indian artist R C Ukil of the Bengal School, on a special visit to High Commission of India, London.
Shri Ukil was among the distinguished artists who, nearly a century ago, created the magnificent gilt-based artwork in the Central Dome of India House—including the iconic scene depicting the historic meeting between Alexander and King Porus.
