Celebrating Asian Stories Through Cinema
The 2nd Asia Pacific Film Festival (9–26 Feb 2026) in 🇨🇭 commenced with its inaugural event in Berne, bringing together a vibrant spectrum of cinematic voices and cultural narratives from across the Asia-Pacific region. The festival serves as a unique platform for cultural exchange, dialogue and appreciation of storytelling traditions that connect diverse societies through the language of cinema.
Participating countries include 🇮🇩 Indonesia | Pacific Islands | 🇻🇳 Vietnam | 🇰🇷 Korea | 🇵🇭 Philippines | 🇹🇭 Thailand | 🇮🇳 India | 🇵🇰 Pakistan | 🇯🇵 Japan | 🇦🇺 Australia — highlighting the richness, creativity and diversity of filmmaking across the region.
As part of the celebrations, the Embassy of India in Switzerland & Liechtenstein will present the acclaimed Indian film “12th Fail” on 23 Feb 2026 in Berne, showcasing inspiring storytelling and the evolving global appeal of Indian cinema while strengthening people-to-people connections through culture.
