Sanskrit and Christmas—an unexpected yet beautiful harmony!
At the festive season gathering at the Lithuanian Embassy in Delhi, we had the unique opportunity to welcome visiting Lithuanian Sanskrit scholar Vytis Vidūnas.
In a warm and cosy get-together, guests were treated to a soulful recitation of the Hymn of Creation from the Rigveda, read aloud in Sanskrit, Lithuanian, and English—celebrating shared heritage, scholarship, and the spirit of the season.
