A vibrant and inspiring evening at ‘Bharat Parv’, hosted by India in UK (High Commission of India, London), bringing together filmmakers, creators, and industry leaders under one creative roof. HC Vikram Doraiswami highlighted the vast potential of the India–UK cultural partnership, calling for deeper collaboration that pairs India’s creative momentum with the UK’s strengths in cultural communication. He emphasised leveraging WAVES as a platform for co-creation, innovation, and value generation for both nations.
Shruti Rajkumar from NFDC presented insights on WAVES and India Cine Hub—key engines driving innovation, production, talent development, and global engagement within India’s creative ecosystem.
The evening then came alive with spellbinding performances by Sukhman Singh, Sandeep Mohanty, and Tanishq Arora, winners of the Wah Ustaad — Create in India Challenge, accompanied by Manjeet Singh Rasiya on Tabla and Surjeet Singh Aulakh on Sarangi.
