Celebrating the Diversity of India in Reykjavik
The Embassy of India, Reykjavik organised States Day on 29 November, showcasing the rich cultural, linguistic and regional diversity of India.
The celebrations were graced by Mr. Pawel Bartoszek, Hon’ble MP and Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Mr. Guðmundur Ari Sigurjónsson, Hon’ble MP.
Ambassador R. Ravindra highlighted the reorganisation of Indian states and the vibrant diversity of languages, traditions, people and culture across the country.
Members of the Indian community presented colourful performances representing their respective states, adding to the cultural splendour of the evening.
The event was attended by the Indian diaspora and friends of India, making it a memorable celebration of unity in diversity.
