Celebrating 30 Years of Tarika Valli’s Artistic Legacy

Last Saturday, the Museum of the Oriente hosted the captivating show “Sculpting Mythologies to Dancing Sculptures,” an event that paid tribute to the extraordinary 30-year artistic journey of Tarika Valli. As the first performer, choreographer, and teacher of classical Indian dance in Portugal, Tarika Valli has played a pioneering role in introducing, nurturing, and expanding the appreciation of Indian classical dance in the country.

The evening brought together admirers, students, and lovers of dance to celebrate her remarkable contributions and her lasting impact on the cultural landscape of Portugal.
