Know India Programme (KIP) 2026 🇮🇳
The Know India Programme (KIP), a flagship initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, invites young members of the Indian diaspora (aged 21–35) to embark on an inspiring journey of rediscovering their ancestral roots. Designed as a fully hosted 3-week immersion programme, KIP offers participants a deep and authentic introduction to India’s cultural heritage, technological progress, and socio-economic transformation.
Through a rich blend of curated activities, participants will explore iconic historical monuments, experience India’s diverse traditions and languages, and engage with vibrant local communities across multiple states. The programme includes study tours, interactive sessions with policymakers, visits to academic and research institutions, exposure to India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and insights into flagship developmental initiatives shaping New India.
KIP also provides a unique platform for diaspora youth to connect with Indian students, innovators, and thought leaders—strengthening people-to-people ties and fostering long-term cultural bonds. With limited seats and travel support fully provided, the programme offers an unparalleled opportunity for overseas Indians to build a meaningful connection with their heritage, identity, and the India of today.
