Bringing India to Iceland through Cinema Indian Film Festival 2025

Embassy of India, Reykjavik invites you to celebrate the rich diversity and artistry of Indian cinema at the Indian Film Festival – November 2025!

Experience the magic of storytelling that transcends borders, languages, and cultures. From thought-provoking dramas to powerful tales of courage and compassion, this special festival brings some of India’s most acclaimed films to Icelandic audiences — with Icelandic subtitles for an immersive viewing experience.

🎞️ Mirch Masala — 9 November | 1400 hrs
🎞️ Viduthalai — 15 November | 1400 hrs
🎞️ The Making of the Mahatma — 16 November | 1400 hrs

Each screening showcases the creative spirit and cultural depth of India — from the resilience of rural women in Mirch Masala, to the fight for justice in Viduthalai, and the inspiring journey of Mahatma Gandhi in The Making of the Mahatma.
