India Pavilion Inaugurated at #Gamescom2025 in Cologne, Germany
The India Pavilion at Gamescom 2025 was inaugurated on 20 August 2025 at Koelnmesse, Cologne. The inauguration was attended by Mr. Abhishek Dubey, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India (Berlin); Dr. Dinesh Antil, First Secretary (Commerce), E/I Berlin; Mr. Vibha Kant Sharma, Acting Consul General, CGI Frankfurt; Mr. Bhupendra Nikhurpa, Consul (Commerce), CGI Frankfurt; Mr. Karan Singh Rathore, Chairman, SEPC; Mr. Deepak Deopa, CoA SEPC; Dr. Abhay Kumar Sinha, Director General, SEPC; and Mr. Chandranshu Awasthi, Senior Director, SEPC. They interacted with Indian exhibitors and explored opportunities for collaboration in the gaming sector.
The Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) is showcasing India’s creative and digital strength at the fair with the participation of around 25 member companies under one unified pavilion – the largest-ever Indian representation at Gamescom.
On the sidelines, Mr. Abhishek Dubey and Mr. Karan Singh Rathore discussed strategies to further expand Indian participation in future editions and unlock greater business opportunities in gaming.
India’s presence at Gamescom highlights its growing potential in gaming, animation, VFX, and immersive technologies, positioning the country as an emerging global hub of creativity, innovation, and digital entertainment.
