With folded hands and hearts full of reverence, we warmly invite all devotees to the Hindu Mandir to celebrate the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan in the esteemed presence of His Excellency Mr. Anurag Bhushan Ambassador-Designate of India to Sweden

This year, the Hindu Mandir of Stockholm is honoured to celebrate this sacred festival in the gracious presence of His Excellency, symbolising the eternal values of love, protection, and universal brotherhood.

As part of the celebration, women and girls from the Bharatiya diaspora in Sweden will perform the sacred ritual of tying the Rakhi on His Excellency, signifying a divine bond of care, protection, and goodwill.

The celebration will also feature traditional observances such as Satyanarayan Katha, Aarti, devotional offerings, and cultural reflections — creating a vibrant space for community bonding and spiritual harmony.

This special occasion aims to strengthen the ties between the Embassy of India in Sweden and the Bharatiya community, uniting us in the spirit of shared heritage, tradition, and cultural exchange.
