The annual ‘Diwali Celebration’ was held by Maharashtra Mandal Norway (MMN) at Rommen Scene in Oslo on November 11, 2024. MMN is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. From 4 members to 305 members, MMN has been expanding over the years.
At the ceremony, a thorough presentation was given to highlight the different initiatives that MMN has undertaken throughout the years.
In order to highlight India’s vast and varied cultural landscape, Ambassador Acquino Vimal, who attended their event, greeted the Maharashtran community and urged them to plan activities on a much greater scale and involve their Norwegian friends.
The diaspora’s brilliant members gave some amazing performances at the event. Marathi singing, dances, plays, musical instrument performances, and traditional Marathi food were all part of the event, which highlighted the rich cultural legacy of Maharashtra.
