München Tamil Sangam e.V. proudly presents Deepavali 2024 Celebration, also known as Diwali, is one of the most significant and joyous festivals in Tamil culture. It marks the victory of light over darkness and good over evil and reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu and Tamil-speaking populations globally.
People celebrate by lighting oil lamps, bursting fireworks, cleaning and decorating their homes, and sharing sweets. It is a time for friends and family gatherings, prayers, and expressing gratitude for prosperity and well-being.
It’s a day to cheer on friends and family, to encourage the little ones as they take their first playful steps into our traditions, and to relish the joy of togetherness.
