An enchanting kaleidoscope of multifaceted culture of the state of Kerala brought the flavorful festivities of Onam to Frankfurt. Kerala Samajam Frankfurt celebrated the beautiful harvest festival remembering King Mahabali with members of the Indian community and German friends after an interlude of 2 years due to Covid pandemic.
Speaking at the occasion, Consul General praised the Malayali community for their efforts to preserve their culture and traditions, especially the Malayalam language classes for children to introduce them to the rich literary traditions of the state. Consul General also highlighted the hospitality and natural beauty of Kerala- as a foremost tourism destination in India for which it is appropriately described as God’s own country.
