NATIONAL HANDLOOM DAY COMPETITION
National Handloom Day is observed on 7th of August every year, celebrating the incredible Indian Handloom heritage spanning the length and breadth of India. This day is celebrated to honour our weavers and to provide momentum to the Indian handloom industry. 95% of the world’s handwoven fabrics belong to India.
On this special day, we should proudly celebrate our rich heritage of handlooms by wearing handwoven garments to empower and recognize the craftmanship and dedication of our weavers.
