I would request all members here to disseminate informatiom further amongs your respective members that:
1. They should not wait to apply for renewal of passport till the last moment. They should apply in advance and xan apply anytime one year before the expiry of passport. For example, if the present passport is due to expire on 13.05.2021, they should apply now
2. They should always send their present passport with passport application. Checklist of documents is on our website. If a single document is missing, application is incomplete and we have to send it back. It increases our work.
3. OCI services are suspended since 08.12.2020 as mentioned on our website. People have been sending applications to us. We have no option but to return as according to rules, the applicant has to be interviewed. OCI card is life-long visa and has serious security concerns.
