It is with great pleasure that the Sivaalayam Team is coming forward to inform you of the latest developments and updates. It is already six months that the Sivaalayam has been started during the Navaratri last year.
Although the times have been difficult due to Corona Lockdowns, we are happy to be able to serve the Hindu community for all the festivals that have comeforth hence, including Karthika Masa, Sankranthi , Maha Sivaratri, Ugadi ….

Sivaalayam Sivaratri Pooja in Munich 2021
Moola Vigraha Pratishta/ Opening June 20 or 27
We are also happy to announce that we have begun the procurement process for the Moola Vigraha Pratishta
• Full time Archaka swamy as soon as visas open.-
Siva Linga, Nandi, Maa Parvati, Lord Ganesha, Lord Vishnu and Lord Surya – based on the panchayatana concept.
Additionally, the temple needs necessary puja material to conduct daily rituals in the temple. The plan is to procure the Vigrahas and Puja material by middle of June to be able to do the Pratishta on the auspicious dates, June 20th or June 27th, as these are the last available Muhurtas for the year.
Additionally, we are trying to invite a Guruji for the Pratishta and also our fulltime Panditji (Archaka Swamy) to perform daily pujas and rituals at temple. In preparation for the pratishta, the temple has to be renovated and Mandapas to be build.
This whole process is extremely time consuming and incurs huge costs. Any support at the moment however small by all of us will go directly into the procurement of Siva Linga, the Deities and the pooja material for the temple.
We humbly request all the patrons and followers of Sanatana Dharma to utilize this precious opportunity by contributing heartily to the Sivaalayam and become the TORCH BREARER in laying the foundation of Sanatana Dharma for the forthcoming generations in the Munich Area.
