Recent travel experience cochin – Dubai- Munich

Giri from Munich his recent  travel experience :

I travelled back to Munich via Dubai thursday by Emirates.

A point to consider for those of you travelling back to Germany especially via Dubai. The PCR test should be taken within the 48 hours of expected landing time in Germany. You should calculate according to the German time and not the time zone of your departure country. I got into some trouble at the Dubai airport as my test results exceeded 1 hour according to Dubai time zone. Say if you are to land at 1 pm on monday in Germany, test sample should be taken after 4.30 pm on Saturday in India.
I was asked to take the antigen test before 15 min of flight departure and warned that I could miss the flight too. It was a lot of confusion and running around. Luckily one person at the test center agreed to make an exception and allowed me to board.
May be mine is a one time incident, but do take care to be on thr safer side.
