Warsaw, poland (ap) — girls’s rights activists and plenty of thousands of supporters held a fifth day of protests throughout poland on monday, defying pandemic restrictions to express their fury at a pinnacle courtroom decision that tightens the predominantly catholic nation’s already strict abortion law. In warsaw, commonly young demonstrators — women and men — with drums, horns and firecrackers blocked rush-hour visitors for hours at some of principal roundabouts. Some of them took off their shirts and stood topless on top of automobiles. Many held banners with an obscenity calling at the proper-wing authorities to step down.
