My Travel experience ( Brussels -Paris – Mumbai -Pune)

Just would like to share my experience

Step 1 : Flight booking
I booked flights on Air france website and selected
Economy with 23kg Luggage option .
Keep remember under standard economy you will not allowed check in bag . Please check option carefully before booking .

After booking I got
Brussels to Paris airport train ticket (From Brussels Midi ,Train – TGV)
And Paris to mumbai flight (Airbus)

Step 2 : Self declaration /self registration.
Submitted self declaration form on Air suvidha

I received PDF after registration with unique number

Step 3 : Registered on Paris embassy

I registered google form on below link

It is mandatory for passengers to register with the Embassy of India https://forms.gle/ddKHqae5cVrstXbu8

After submitting this form ,I got confirmation mail in 8 hours along with Undertaking form which you have to print out ,Signed it and if you don’t carry you can found on Air france counter on Paris airport.no need to worry

Step 4 :Applied for exemption in Air suvidha
I did covid RT- PCR rapid test on Brussels airport
96 hours before boarding of flight .

I chose Rapid test with 135 euro option and I received report on 10 hours and while giving test took 2 hours in queue .

This test is without prescription (open all days including weekend from morning 3 Am to 11 PM )

After received report (which are in French ) I applied exemption using code from Step 2 (self declaration)

And got approval in 3 hours ( on Sunday )
I also carried print out

Step 5 : Started Journey Brussels to Paris

I took taxi reached safely to midi station ,use below taxi customer care they will send you taxi if you want

Once reach to Midi its not easy to find Air france counter , This counter is at one corner of station .
Please ask this to any officers if you confuse don’t loose time for finding best to ask .

I reached counter they check in my bag after weight check and ask me to stand on Platform 4 to board train and They said check in bag I will get a mumbai

Travel was very smooth and train was empty since I was traveling on weekday

Step 6 :Reached Paris ,boarding process
My train reached at paris airport ,I took lift and reached to Airport ,

Note : There are some Syrian women /Gypsy women carrying notebook and will ask you where u have to go .If u speak they will ask to sign on book and then will ask 10 or 20 euros , Please beware from fraud ,It’s team of 15 to 20 women .If they come to u just ignore them and Just don’t speak and walk .
There are police officers they will guide you so ask questions to right people ,I saw one of passenger fall in trap and I helped him to get away from that women gang .

I reached to Air france ( paris to mumbai ) Terminal and saw They are checking Undertaking form and embassy approval and Temperature .If someone don’t have embassy approval or forget then they kept hard copy of Undertaking form which u can sign and submit .

I saw many chinese passengers were there and almost all wearing PPE kit ( sharing you photo of it for reference ) ,I would advice you seat different place if they were seating on same terminal of you and wear N95 and don’t afraid to see there gesture 😃

I boarded flight almost 80% flight was empty and in my compartment only 3 people were there out of 80 places.
Air hostes and crew ensure everyone safety

Important Note regarding Hand baggage :
Before boarding and paris immigration ,They check hand bag size and weight so please avoid excess weight and bag size .

Step 7 : During flight from Paris to mumbai
Flight was very comfortable and food drink serve all way . Excellent service by Air france .

Landing and take off also very smooth .

Step 8 : After reaching Mumbai
After landing mumbai ,
First immigration just took 5 min since all passenger from my flight and everything looks calm and less crowded .

Then i went for bag collection counter where they asked me to install Arogy setu app .I said mobile issue while installing app they allow me ( it’s not so strict )

I took bag and next step is there is queue where they check self declaration form .If you don’t have self declaration form then they will give u hard copy to fill so no worry if u not fill or carry .

Then next step is Exemption counter where they will check your passport and details and allow you to go home quartine or allow to go domestic flight

They asked me to go pune collector office and submit my negative report and can go to home after
And they mentioned collector office open 24*7 for this

Please remember you have to give taxi number and driver number so booked OLA and give details so they allow u to go

Step 9 : Reached Pune
I went at night 4 o’clock to collector office and submitted my negative report along with form gave by Mumbai airport and they said “OK ” that’s it.

I reached home safely and completed all self -quarantine procedure (home quarantine )
