Consulate General of India, Hamburg extends its heartiest Congratulations to Dr. Amal Kumar Mukhopadhyay, a distinguished Biotechnologist from Hamburg, Germany for being awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award 2023 at the 17th PBD convention held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh on 10th January 2023.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay, apart from being a renowned scientist, has been working relentlessly to building bridges between India and Germany in the areas of science and technology and in humanitarian activities in the villages of the Sunderbans, West Bengal. As a founder Chairman of the Board of Hanseatic India Forum e.V. Hamburg, Dr. Mukhopadhyay has dedicated his life to promoting educational, scientific & cultural exchanges between India and Germany.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay has indeed made India proud while playing a significant role to strengthen ties between India and Germany in the field of Science and Technology.
