Pandit Debaprasad Chakraborty is an acclaimed musician from India and has performed widely in India and abroad for more than twenty years. He is currently placed in the highest rated category of sitarists (A-top) by the All India Radio and is a much sought-after artist in the Indian classical scene. His initial learning was under his father and Pt. Gokul Nag following he received rigorous training under Pt. Ajoy Sinha Roy, a direct disciple of Ustad Alauddin Khan, the founder of the Maihar school of Indian music. His music is highly admired among music critics and listeners and is appreciated for the combination of dexterity and depth. He currently lives and teaches in Kolkata, India.
Dr. Debojyoti Chakraborty is an Indian Sitarist who has been performing in National and International concerts for the past 15 years. He had his initial training under Sunil Saha, a disciple of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and later under Debaprasad Chakraborty, a senior disciple of Ajoy Sinha Roy. His music has been appreciated widely and honored with prestigious awards including the Dover Lane Award for Best Instrumentalist and a National Scholarship from the Govt. of India. He has performed frequently in Europe as a soloist as well as in collaboration with other musicians and has also lectured on Indian music in Germany and Poland. At a professional level, he is a scientist working on stem cells and noncoding RNA and heads a research group in New Delhi, India.

Ashis Paul started learning tabla under the guidance of his father Shri Tapan Paul at the tender age of five. Later he took lessons from Pandit Samir Chatterjee and Pandit Debnath Chakraborty. For the last 25 years he is under the able guidance of none other than Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, the tabla wizard. Ashis performs all over the world as a soloist and as an accompanist with different musicians. He had the rare honour of performing at the Sydney Opera House.
